“Issues arose upon entering the room they put us in as right away there was a live cockroach on one of the bed pillows. Room was generally clean yet where were more roaches? Pool was locked and not open on a day with 100 degrees, no notification of it not being out of order. Breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful. Did not report roaches in the room as that would create more problems and possible anger from the staff.”

“This is a hotel that hasn’t been updated…prolly ever. So just be prepared that it is not a luxury stay.”

“The smell when running water should have been first clue. Couldn't sleep, got up at 11:30 pm to go to car, we'll lit parking. Returned to room and roaches in bathroom, and on wall. 3 different sizes! We packed up and left immediately.”

“Newly remodeled. Elevator access to second floor. Friendly staff. No continental breakfast but coffee was good enough for me. Just a few bucks more than other value hotels and well worth it. Well lit parking lot. HEB grocery store across the freeway and plenty of nearby dining options. Just a couple miles from historic downtown area.”

“The large colonial style home was beautifully maintained and the themed rooms very spacious with private bathrooms. The host was so welcoming and the hot home cooked breakfast delicious. The location and views were stunning.”
